Hello Freshers,
ISMP welcomes you all to IIT Ropar. Institute Student Mentor Programme (ISMP) is a program within the IIT Ropar Student Community, with the primary objective of enabling constructive and positive interaction, guidance, and mentorship of junior students by senior students. The vision of the program is "to inculcate the right attitude right from the beginning". The ISMP aims at developing a smooth transition to campus life for every new entrant to an academic program at IIT Ropar.

The day started with the reporting of new students at the senate hall, in which all the registrations were done.
After that our Director of IIT Ropar Dr. Rajeev Ahuja gave a welcoming speech to all the new students during the Institute Orientation.

To know the college life and clear the doubts of freshers we had a small mentor mentee interaction with a huge participation from the students as well as the ISMP Core team.

The day concluded with a small refreshing students activity to ease up and rejuvenate the freshers from all the hurriedness through the registration process.

Huge participation from the was seen. We hope to see this enthusiasm and participation in every event.
