Despite the fact that we live in a country where holidays have their fair share of the calendar, Diwali is one of the most eagerly awaited festivals. Diwali, which falls on November 4 this year, brings people from all walks of life together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.

Amidst the celebration of Independance Day, National Institute of Technology Rourkela commemorates its 59th year of establishment with the foundation stone laid by our Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on 15th of August, 1961 during the second five year plan. Our institute stands tenaciously through the long expedition from Regional Engineering College(REC) to NIT, recognizing itself to be one of the best Engineering Institute of National Importance.


Team SPAWN is blessed to be a part of this prestigious institute contributing towards the vision of the same and today we proudly celebrate our Foundation Day with great accomplishments ahead.
