Following trap of Sri Asit Kumar Pattanayak, Dy.Ranger, Bisra Forest Range, Rourkela Forest Division, Dist- Sundargarh on 20.5. 2025, for taking bribe Rs.18,000/- from a vehicle owner to release hire charges of his vehicle pre-engaged for official purpose, simultaneous searches were conducted by Vigilance teams at 4 locations connected to Sri Pattanayak. During searches, Cash Rs. 8.37 Lakhs unearthed and seized and Gold weighing approx. 390 gms recovered from his residential house at Basanti Colony, Rourkela.
