Hotel nirvana palace

Maybe it's difficult to make out because I damn near almost stepped on it..
But I went for a random stroll through the ashrams in town and decided to head down to the Ganges to sit for a while, just outside where the Beatles ashram is located. I thought these were ashes from a bonfire until I spotted bits and pieces of bone fragments left over from a cremation ceremony. I looked around and saw that there had to have been half a dozen cremation spots in total. At first, I was freaked out and couldn't believe what surrounded me. It was just a couple of monkeys, human remains and myself---all sharing the same, peaceful, beautiful space. It was one of those you start to hear your own heartbeat and you need to sit down to take it all in kind of moments.
But once "Mother Ganga's" levels rise, the last remains will then float downstream in her strong current. The Ganga River is where many Hindus wish to die so their body/ashes are placed into her sacred waters. They believe this would then break the cycle of reincarnation and they will go straight to heaven - experience of one pilgrim.
