Good Night… Prepare Your Body for Deep, Healing Sleep

Sleep begins with relaxation.

Before you close your eyes, take a slow, deep breath and gently speak to your body.

Tell your legs,
“You have carried me all day. Now it’s time to rest.”

Tell your hands,
“Your work is done. You can relax now.”

Tell your heart,
“You are safe. Slow down and rest peacefully.”

Tell your belly,
“Let go of all tension. Be calm and at ease.”

Tell your spine,
“Release every burden. Become soft and relaxed.”

Now tell your whole body:

“There is nothing more to do. The outside world can wait until tomorrow. This is my time to rest, heal, and renew.”

As your body relaxes, your brain receives a powerful message that you are safe. Your muscles soften, your breathing becomes gentle, your nervous system becomes quiet, and natural sleep begins.

A deeply relaxed body creates the deepest sleep.

And a peaceful night’s sleep creates a happier, healthier, and more positive tomorrow.
