Since the last few days, social media has been very overwhelming. We have seen continuous feeds on all the platforms regarding mental health. I’m no expert, and neither I claim to be one. But being in this field gets quite tiring at times emotionally. Professionally and personally.
Two days back, my sister called me and started crying for no reason and couldn’t understand why. All I could do was listen to her. If, in case I feel I cannot help anyone, I direct them to experts. The same I did with a few acquaintances and asked them to talk to .speaking
All we can do as individuals are to be more cautious while dealing with people in day to day life. Let’s be more empathetic and choose not to comment on something that might affect others negatively. Small words can make a huge difference. Let’s be more responsible. I didn’t intend to post this, but something happened, and I felt like sharing this.
Please ignore the choice of words if I had made any mistakes in narrative. The message I'm trying to convey is equal for everyone irrespective of genders.
