Government Polytechnic Reasi

25th of September, 2023, Government Polytechnic, Reasi in collaboration with District Industries Centre, Reasi organised a Seminar on " Self Employment Schemes under Prime minister's employment generation programme (PMEGP) " for awaring and motivating the youth to pursue enterprenuship. The seminar was started with inauguration speech given by Mrs. Vinay Gupta, Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Reasi. She welcomed Mr. Ankur Kalotra, Functional Manager, Mr. Adesh Singh, Industrial Promotional Officer of District Industrial Centre, Reasi and motivated students to be job providers instead of job seekers.
During the seminar, Mr. Adesh Singh gave deep description about the eligibility conditions, scopes, benefits and procedures for availing the loans under PMEGP scheme.
In addition to this, Mr. Ankur Kalotra motivated students to start their own enterprises with positive attitude. He also added starting own business will also help them to generate employment for other people in addition to themselves. In the last , Ms. Sonali Sharma presented a vote of thanks to all the officers from DIC Reasi for making the time to be with them and sharing valuable information.
The seminar was co-ordinated by Sh. Ajay Dogra, I/c Co-curricular activities and Er. Mohd. Shabir under the able guidance of Mrs. Vinay Gupta, Principal, Govt. Polytechnic Reasi.
