Delhi Public School Ranchi continued its memorable educational excursion with an exciting wildlife exploration at the renowned Jim Corbett National Park on Day 07 of the trip. The students enjoyed a thrilling jungle safari experience that brought them closer to nature and wildlife.
On 22nd May 2026, the students left early in the morning for an adventurous safari at Jim Corbett National Park. Accompanied by guides and teachers, the students explored the rich forest area and witnessed the beauty of wildlife in its natural habitat. The safari became an unforgettable experience as the students were able to spot several wild animals including the majestic Tiger, Chital Deer, Sambar Deer, Hogg Deer, Langur, Wild Pig, Rhesus Monkey, and Jackal.
The students also got an opportunity to observe a wide variety of beautiful birds during the safari. Among the birds sighted were the Indian Hornbill, Robin, Kingfisher, Peacock, Woodpeckers, White-tailed Rubythroat, Eagle, and Spotbill. The wildlife experience enhanced the students’ curiosity and understanding of biodiversity, wildlife conservation, and the importance of protecting natural ecosystems.
Later, the group departed from Kathgodam Railway Station and boarded the train to New Delhi, carrying along unforgettable memories of adventure, learning, friendship, and togetherness from the excursion.
Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan expressed her delight over the enriching experience and said, “Exposure to nature and wildlife helps students develop environmental awareness, patience, observation skills, and respect for biodiversity. Such educational excursions inspire students to appreciate the beauty of nature while encouraging experiential learning, responsibility, and teamwork beyond the classroom.”

Delhi Public School Ranchi continued its exciting educational excursion with great enthusiasm as the students moved to the renowned Jim Corbett National Park on Day 06 of the trip. The day was filled with travel, recreation, and enjoyable group activities that added new experiences and memorable moments to the excursion.
On 21st May 2026, the students departed from Camp Nainital for Jim Corbett National Park after breakfast. The scenic journey through the beautiful hills and forests took approximately four hours. Upon reaching the destination, the students settled into their accommodation and relaxed amidst the peaceful natural surroundings of Jim Corbett.
Lunch was served after arrival, following which the students enthusiastically participated in various recreational and sports activities organised at the resort premises.
The students thoroughly enjoyed swimming sessions that brought fun and relaxation after the long journey. They also actively participated in several outdoor and indoor sports activities at the playground, including cricket, football, tennis, and pool, which encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and healthy interaction among the participants.
Honourable Principal, Dr. Jaya Chauhan conveyed her appreciation for the successful continuation of the excursion and said, “Educational excursions help students learn important life values such as cooperation, adaptability, discipline, and team spirit. Exposure to different environments and group activities enhances students’ confidence, interpersonal skills, and overall personality development while making learning enjoyable and experiential.”
