The Civil Engineering Department organized a seminar titled “Nation’s Voice, Nation’s Pride: Vande Mataram @150” on 17 November 2025 in the Civil Engineering Seminar Room to commemorate the 150th anniversary of India’s iconic national song Vande Mataram coordinated by Prof. K.J. Savalia and Prof. S. S. Chourushi under the guidance of Head of Department Dr. N. J. Bhatt and Dr. T.H. Bhoraniya . The seminar aimed to create awareness about the cultural and historical importance of the song, highlighting its origins in Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel Anandamath and its significant role in inspiring unity and patriotism during India’s freedom struggle. A total of 72 students and faculty members from various branches actively participated in the event. All the participants were awarded digital certificate upon submission of digital feedback.
