GKITS Learning Activity | Marketing Quiz Contest
Mentors at GKITS organized a thought-provoking Marketing Quiz Contest on the Tata Nano case study, inviting university students to analyze its marketing phenomenon in the backdrop of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs.
The contest received enthusiastic participation from students across different academic backgrounds. After careful evaluation, the judges shortlisted four outstanding participants as the winners.
A key takeaway from the activity was an interesting insight: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs may also operate within a specific consumer segment. For example, within the car-user segment, transportation itself can be viewed as a basic need, while features, comfort, status, and pricing may represent higher-order needs.
At GKITS, we believe in encouraging students to think beyond textbooks, analyze real-world business cases, and develop practical decision-making skills.
