Pune Biennale Foundation

Pune Biennale Foundation, through three consecutive biennales since 2013, has aspired to contribute to the urban aesthetics of Pune. For the 4th edition, the curators - Khoj International Artists Association - true to their international repute, worked tirelessly to create an ambitious plan with a great ensemble of ideas, artists, exhibitions and installations for the biennale. We recognise and acknowledge the tremendous work they have put in so far. However, due to lack of sufficient funds this year, we wish to announce with deep regret that we will be unable to host the Pune Biennale in December 2019. We are deeply saddened by this turn of the event. Meanwhile, the foundation will continue its contribution to city's urban aesthetics through public art projects such as Chaandaar, Pune Speaking Walls and Reuse & Recreate.

Pune Biennale Foundation launched the 4th edition of Pune Biennale on 23rd January 2019 at the picturesque Monalisa Kalagram in presence of a wide audience. The highlight was the introductory presentation by Khoj International Artists Association, the curators of this edition.
A big thanks to all who have encouraged and supported us over the years as their own....we are super excited and looking forward to the Pune Biennale 2019.
