28 May 2025 — Right knee ACL & Meniscus surgery. ❤️🩹
There were days filled with pain, fear, limitations, and doubts.
But I chose healing. I chose discipline. I chose belief.
Today, this Shirshasana is more than just a pose.
It’s proof that the body achieves what the mind believes. ✨
From surgery to strength…
from recovery to resilience…
I made the impossible possible because I never stopped believing in myself.
Every fall teaches balance. Every pain builds power. 🔥
Drop back, trust the universe, and let go.

What's happening in your body:
Spine & Back — The entire spine goes into extension (backbend), mobilizing vertebrae that are usually stiff from sitting all day.
Chest & Shoulders — The pectorals (chest muscles) and anterior deltoids stretch deeply, physically "opening" the ribcage and heart space.
Hip Flexors — The psoas and iliacus get a powerful stretch as the hips push forward.
Throat — The neck extends, stretching the sternocleidomastoid and opening the trachea — directly stimulating the Vishuddha (throat chakra) region.
Nervous System — The deep backbend activates the sympathetic nervous system initially, then with breath, shifts to parasympathetic — creating that deep emotional release many feel in this pose.
Endocrine Connection — The throat stretch stimulates the thyroid & parathyroid glands — governing metabolism, voice, and self-expression. 🎯
You're physically unlocking your chest to feel more, and stretching your throat to speak more freely.
It's not about how far you arch or bend — it's about how mindfully you stretch, how gently you heal, and how quietly you rewire.
A yoga journey is not about perfection . It's all about showing up , breathing and growing up one practice at one time. Every pose you attenpt, every wobble , every deep breath
