Electrical and Computer Students Association

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering BVDUCOE Pune had conducted a guest lecture on topic ‘Industrial Automation' on 6th October 2023. Activity was conducted under IEEE student chapter, Pune and The Institution of Engineers (India).

Total 70 students from B.Tech.Electrical Sem-III and Sem-V attended the lecture.

Prof. Swapnil Namekar & Prof. Vishal Mehtre coordinated the activity under the guidance of Dr.Deepak Bankar, HoD, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Mr. Vivek Sardal, Regional Manager, Pune division of Prolific Systems & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was the guest speaker to deliver the lecture.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering BVDUCOE Pune has signed the MOU with Polycab India Ltd. and conducted the workshop on ‘Electric Cables'. Activity was conducted under IEEE student chapter, Pune and The Institution of Engineers (India).

Total 89 students from B.Tech.Electrical Sem-V and Sem-VII attended the workshop.

Prof.Yogesh Mandake coordinated the activity under the guidance of Dr.Deepak Bankar, HoD, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Mr.Debajyoti Mukherjee- Vice President, technical (Polycab India Ltd) and Mr.Jatin Panchal- Chief Brand Manager, Cables (Polycab India Ltd) were present during the workshop.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering organised a cleanliness drive on the occasion on ""Swachhanjali" on the 1st of October 2023. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ELCE) organised one day Workshop on "Occupational Health & Safety" in association with Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing Pune for B. Tech ELCE sem II Students.

Dr. Bhagyashree Jogdeo, Principal of Nursing college, Dr. Vidula Sohoni Principal BVDUCOE, Dr. D. S. Bankar, HoD ELCE, Dr. R. M. Holmukhe, coordinator were present for the inaugural function of workshop.

The workshop gave exposure about the impact of electric shock on human body and first aid against it.

12 faculty member from Nursing college demonstrated the treatment to all the students of department.
