General Compartments in Railways increased. As per the News in Dinamalar,Tamil Daily on 12/9/2024.

Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchayat had written letters from all the districts to Railway Ministry, Chairman of Railways and demand to increase the general compartments from existing 2 as this was from British Govt era. Now the population has been increased and only two general compartment are there in all railways.

The Southern Railway increases unreserved coaches in Express trains to Four from Jan-2025.

This is victory of Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchayat and hope that all railway departments will follow this.
