A sharp, musical celebration of women’s wit, resilience, and lived intelligence passed through generations in the form of Marathi Ovis.
Blending humour, music, movement, and storytelling, the play uncovers the worlds of women whose wisdom was often dismissed as “just songs.”

Everyone will speak of Naseeruddin Sir’s brilliance in *The Einstein*. But what lingers for me is something quieter—and far more unsettling.

To witness that level of presence is to be confronted with the true demand of theatre: to strip away everything that is false until only truth remains. No ornament, no performance—just being.

As a theatre practitioner, it doesn’t just inspire me—it interrogates me. It asks what I’m willing to let go of, and what it really means to stand bare before an audience.
