At our Janta Vasahat Study Centre, students welcomed visitors from Sweden for a day of shared learning and cultural exchange. The session began with an introduction to the Utkarsh Project, followed by interactive activities where everyone got to know each other.
Students took the lead in celebrating Gudi Padwa, the vibrant Maharashtrian festival, sharing its significance and creating colourful Gudis together through a hands-on craft activity.
The day came alive with cultural exchange, as Swedish students performed traditional dances and our children responded with energetic performances of their own.
It was truly a day filled with learning, creativity, and cultural bonding! ❤️

110 women. 52 SHGs. One powerful coming together.
The SHG Mela in Pune brought women together to share experiences, learn from each other, and strengthen their collective journey. From financial discussions and empowerment skits to real conversations about livelihoods and growth, the day created space for both learning and leadership.
It wasn’t just an event; it was a step toward stronger networks, better financial awareness, and more women actively participating in income-generating activities.
Because real change grows when women lead, support, and rise together. 💛

To celebrate National Science Day, IDEA Foundation organised an Inter-Centre Science Exhibition on 8th March at the Yerwada Centre, where 60 students from different study centres presented science models based on the theme “My Health, My Responsibility.”
The exhibition included projects on topics such as balanced diet, water filtration, prevention of mosquito-borne diseases, the impact of mobile usage on health, exercise and fitness, and detecting food adulteration. Through these models, students connected science with everyday health and well-being.
The exhibition gave students a platform to present their ideas, ask questions, and understand how science can help solve real-life problems.
