This case from Australia helped us in achieving another major milestone- Design and delivery in totally remote mode.
This patient from Australia is first inter-continental case to benefit from our remote prosthesis making (with novel digital design process protocol).
- Received the patient data & details online
- Designed, manufactured & delivered the prosthetic ears by courier.
- Prosthetic ears fitting was guided over Zoom Video conference
No need for any travel, appointments, visits that otherwise significantly adds to the cost for patients.
This development coincided with the COVID-19 lock-down period and this was truly a complete remote delivery across continents. The patient does not have to risk in travel & visit in person.
