Maharashtra finds its first variant case

: The 33 year old who returned from South Africa recently tested positive for omicron variant of Covid19 and is said to be stable.

The state health department informed that he never took the vaccine for the Covid and now has been detected with the new variant. Other passengers too are being tested who travelled along with him and were exposed to this newly positive case of omicron.
