"The Rate Card"
The question that we've been asked more than a hundred times. "Do you have a Rate Card".
My answer to that always is "No, we don't have one", that amazes, alarms, and maybe even confuses a few potential clients.
What we believe in is that a Rate Card works for retail products or services that are identical each time.
Since we deal in corporate videos, brand films and photography, each of our clients requirements are unique. Each client/ marketer has his own vision and therefore he/ she needs a custom solution.
When the variables involved in coming upto a solution are different in nature, a "Rate Card" would be either too expensive or too cheap (might not even cover out bottom lines).
So as a practice we understand the requirements, analyse the effort, man hours and equipments needed and quote a reasonable price that suits the client.
So the eternal question to be answered is "Are we loosing out on clients because we don't have a Rate Card Or Gaining clients because we have none ?"
