All programming is for children!
Our methodologists say why they should study it:
“We all took geography at school, but few of us became geographers. Nevertheless, without this knowledge, our ideas about the world would be incomplete.
It's exactly the same for programming: our world has changed so much that basic knowledge is no longer enough. And in order to fully understand how this new world works, you need to study programming. We used to go over why it snows when spring comes, but now we need to understand databases as well.
Yes, almost all children are familiar with gadgets and they regularly use the internet. But programming skills will allow children to develop deeper into processes and understand how they are structured and work. For example, they will learn to work more efficiently with programs and more safely surf the internet. Perhaps they won’t become programmers. But the knowledge that they gain in the process of studying programming will make their lives more conscious and comfortable."
