A Quick Look at the History & Architecture
​The Style: Designed in the Gothic Revival style by British engineer Colonel James A. Fuller, the building was completed in 1878. It features grand stone arches, intricate carvings, and large Venetian towers.
​The Location: It sits right across from the Oval Maidan in South Mumbai. Because of its incredible historical value, it is part of the Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
​The Scale: The court's jurisdiction is vast, covering the states of Maharashtra and Goa, alongside the Union Territories of Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
