Neurovascular interventions

We treated different spectrum of arterial dissection, ischemic and hemorrhagic in same patient. This patient was referred for endovascular coiling of distal anterior inferior cerebellar artery dissecting aneurysm, for acute subarachnoid hemorrhage. While waiting for surgery,patient developed right hemiplegia with aphasia secondary to spontaneous carotid dissection which was flow limiting.. initially treated aneurysm with coiling and PVO followed by carotid dissection with stenting. Post extubation, no neurological deficit was noted.

Sharing the case of wide neck ACOM aneurysm treated with balloon remodelling technique with complete occlusion on 6 month follow up angiogram. This particular case required multiple attempts of coil repositioning to get adequate basket of first coil which helped to achieve complete aneurysm occlusion.
