โœจ Best Poster Award at Quantum India 2025! ๐Ÿ†

We are thrilled to share that Rayees A S and Shuvarati Roy received the Best Poster Award at the Quantum India Conference 2025, held in Bengaluru on 31st July - 1st August.

Their poster, titled โ€œDEVELOPMENT OF AN INDIGENOUS 20-QUBIT QUANTUM COMPUTING PLATFORM USING TRAPPED IONSโ€, was recognized for its innovation and impact. The award was presented by none other than Nobel Laureates Prof. Duncan Haldane and Prof. David Gross!. The poster highlights our recent advancements in building an ion trap quantum computer, including the successful creation of a linear array of 13 ions and the observation of quantum jumpsโ€”both of which mark critical milestones on the path toward fully functional quantum computer. It also briefly outlines the future prospects for research and technical aspects involved in realizing a quantum computer.

A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Umakant Rapol, Dr. Jay Mangaonkar for their constant support and guidance throughout this journey. And thanks to Joel Sunil and Monu Bhartiya for their support.

We also gratefully acknowledge:
๐Ÿ”น IISER Pune & IHUB QTF Pune
