It's not always your choice who you work with, but when you do, pick projects involving people you enjoy spending time with and trust.

2) Find a problem you find interesting and solve it.
Find projects that inspire and excite you, even if it's not always possible. If you are not excited about any of your existing projects, try to lead a new one.

Make sure you are enjoying what you are doing.
