Loni Kalbhor: Within the limits of Loni Kalbhor police station

Police said a case has been registered against a landlord for not submitting information about the tenant to the police.

Currently, most of the citizens are coming to live in the Loni Kalbhor and Kadamwakvasti areas for college, jobs and business. It is observed that there are many landlords there and while renting out their houses, they are renting out the houses to the tenants without any kind of agreement. It has been issued earlier that it is mandatory for the landlord to provide the information of the concerned to the police while keeping private tenants or recruiting employees. Public awareness was also created from time to time through the media. Loni Kalbhor police had seized Mephedrone (MD) from an accused two days ago. Accordingly, during the investigation, the residence of the accused arrested at Pashankar Bagh was inspected and it was revealed that he was a tenant. A total of 17 tenants live in that building and action was taken against the landlord for not registering their information with the police.

The police have appointed a special team to inspect the tenants, hotels, lodges and crowded places in the area. This action was taken under the guidance of Zone 5 Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajkumar Shinde, Assistant Police Commissioner Hadapsar Division Anuradha Udmale and a team led by Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Panhale, Police Anmaldar Ravi Aher, Sandeep Jogdand, Bapu Waghmode. Further investigation is being conducted by Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
