IA Southern Command

Returning to the place where his journey as a soldier began, the Southern visited his Alma Mater, the National Defence Academy, during the very first week of assuming command.

Interacting with the cadets of his own ‘K’ Squadron, he shared words of encouragement, felicitated the Squadron Appointments, and gave sweets to the cadets reaffirming the enduring bond between an alumnus and his Alma Mater

A heartwarming reminder that no matter how far one rises, true leadership is rooted in remembering where it all began.
