The first to surf.
The first to start a surf school.
The first wave pool.
The best in the game.

But where is the curiosity? The research? The humility?

We’ve seen surfers call themselves India’s first—despite knowing better.
We’ve seen articles promoted by people who’ve never even stepped into the schools they endorse—just following corporate orders.
We’ve seen titles given, partnerships made, and claims shouted—without a moment of pause to ask:
“Is this true?”

It’s not just misleading. It’s disrespectful to the roots and the real ones who paved the way before recognition was trendy.

Meanwhile, we’re here training a passionate young woman who may be India’s first female surfboard shaper. This is her first board—handcrafted without stencils, with special attention to glassing and tinting.
But we’re not claiming that.
Because titles don’t make you the first.
Effort, respect, and craft do.

Let your work speak.
Not your ego.
