Praween Kumar Roy is a seasoned development professional boasting over 28 years of expertise in rural development, agriculture, cooperatives, entrepreneurship, and project management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive of Development Consulting Services (DCS) in Patna.

With postgraduate and professional qualifications in Sociology, Public Administration, and Management (MBA), he has also qualified UGC-NET and RET (BHU).

His core competencies encompass capacity building and training, project formulation and appraisal, monitoring and evaluation, participatory planning and community mobilization, as well as institution building through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and cooperatives.

He has extensive experience working with government departments, NABARD, NCDC, NCUI, BRLPS, BIPARD, and other national and state institutions as a consultant, trainer, evaluator, and resource Person .

Key contributions include preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), training modules, and development plans, conducting impact evaluations and research studies, designing and delivering training programs for officials and stakeholders, and supporting major schemes such as NRLM, RKVY, IWMP, ICDP, MNREGS, and FPO initiatives.

He possesses strong capabilities in policy implementation, grassroots engagement, and program ex*****on with a focus on inclusive and sustainable development.
