🔎 Observe & Slow Down

Look for road signs such as YIELD and pedestrian crossings.

Watch carefully for pedestrians at zebra crossings.

🛑 Yield to Traffic

Vehicles already inside the roundabout have the right of way.

Wait for a safe gap before entering.

Do not stop inside the roundabout unless necessary.

🛣 2. Choosing the Correct Lane

This is very important in a double-lane roundabout.

🔵 Use the RIGHT Lane If:

You are turning right

You are going straight (in this diagram’s guidance)

Stay in the outer lane and follow the blue marked path.

🔴 Use the LEFT Lane If:

You are turning left

You are going straight (as shown in the diagram’s left-side instruction)

Follow the inner lane and red marked path.

⚠ Always check road markings and arrows painted on the road.

🔄 3. While Inside the Roundabout
➡ Stay in Your Lane

Do not change lanes inside the roundabout unless clearly marked and safe.

Follow the curved lane markings carefully.

👀 Stay Alert

Watch for vehicles changing lanes.

Keep an eye on pedestrians at exits.

Maintain a steady, controlled speed.

🚦 4. Signaling & Exiting
✨ Signal Before Exiting

Turn on your indicator before you leave the roundabout.

Signal early enough to inform other drivers.

🚶 Watch for Pedestrians

Slow down near crosswalks.

Stop if pedestrians are crossing.

❌ Common Mistakes to Avoid

Entering without yielding.

Using the wrong lane for your exit.

Changing lanes suddenly inside.
