Goa Congress Questions BJP MP Over MPLADS Funds Spent in UP
Goa Congress has criticised BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade for recommending ₹48.60 lakh from MPLADS funds for LED High Mast Poles in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, alleging Goa's development needs are being ignored. Congress spokesperson Amarnath Panjikar also claimed only 6 of 29 sanctioned MPLADS projects have been completed, with 19.4% fund utilisation. He demanded an explanation for spending Goa's MPLADS allocation outside the state while raising concerns over pending infrastructure projects in Goa.
