To my society declared lame friend,⠀

Have you ever panicked when someone asked you to play your music? Or kept silent and judged you when you told them you liked a cheesy romcom especially if you are guy. Because I do. Not coz they are vulgar or perverted but because I've always been told they are lame. Or more like "your music is so slow and boring" and frankly that hurts. ⠀

And for years I thought it's better to just keep this under wraps because well I don't want to be alienated now do I? Until I met him. A best friend in every respect . Likes the same music as i do, watches the same movies that I do and moreover laughs at all the lame jokes that I make. ⠀

That's when I realised I was alienated because I was me and not a trend following clone like all of them and that was not a bad thing at all.⠀

So don't let anybody make you feel that way. Love your movies , dance to your music because there are people out there dancing to the same tunes as you.⠀
