We visited Maynaguri College, Maynaguri, Jalpaiguri to extend our warm congratulations to Dr. Rajadipta Roy, Associate Professor, Department of English, on his appointment as the Principal of the college .
We were also pleased to be joined by Mr. Sudip Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of History , and Dr. Priyadarshini Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science .
During the visit, we had a constructive discussion on the AMC contract, strengthening the academic–corporate partnership, and exploring new avenues for student development, training, and future collaborations . The interaction reflected a shared commitment to fostering meaningful engagement between academia and industry .
We look forward to a long-term, productive, and impactful association with Maynaguri College.

Information Technology celebrate National Technology Day.

National Technology Day is observed every year in India on the 11th of May. This special day is dedicated to acknowledging the efforts of inventors, researchers, and engineers, as well as to encouraging scientific and technological advancements within the nation.

10th May, 1857, The First War of Indian Independence :

The uprising that took place on May 10, 1857, in Meerut, known as the Indian Rebellion of 1857 or the First War of Indian Independence, marked a significant turning point in the struggle against the rule of the East India Company. While it was not the first revolt against the Company, it was the first major and widespread rebellion. Despite its ultimate failure, the rebellion had a profound impact on the Indian population and brought about significant changes in the way the British governed the subcontinent.
