Compressor
The suction & discharge are highest points of vibration

A Simple & inexpensive Fix : a braided stainless steel flexible hose at every compressor connection — suction and discharge both.

One product. Installed in 10 minutes. Prevents a refrigerant leak that shuts down a cold room, a data centre, or a hospital chiller.

✓ Absorbs compressor vibration at the source
✓ Allows micro-movement without stressing the copper line
✓ Rated for refrigerant pressure and temperature
✓ Corrugated inner liner maintains full flow bore
✓ Copper swaged ends — no clamps, no leaks

Piping success can be traced back to one place — the specification stage.

Here are 3 Design rules that ensure longevity before a single pipe was installed.

Save these — they’re what separates a system that performs from one that becomes a warranty claim.

Rule 1 — Less Bends = Better Flow
Every elbow you specify is a pressure drop you’re building in permanently.

Rule 2 — Pipes Move. Your Spec Should Say How.
Thermal expansion doesn’t care if it wasn’t in the brief. Rigid systems fail. Expansion joints and loops need to be called out clearly.

Rule 3 — Support Spacing is Non-Negotiable
Unsupported spans lead to vibration, fatigue, and joint failure. If it’s not in the spec, it won’t be on site.

The best consultants write specs that protect the system — long after they’ve left the project.

We work closely with consultants to get the engineering right at the specification stage — before it becomes someone else’s problem on site.

Save this before your next HVAC specification. 📌

Most vibration problems on site aren’t caused by bad products.
They’re caused by the wrong product, correctly installed.

SPRING vs RUBBER ISOLATORS — here’s when to use which:

🔵 SPRING ISOLATORS — specify when:
→ Equipment runs below 1200 RPM
→ Installation is on upper building levels
→ You need high static deflection (25mm+)
→ The structure is flexible, not a rigid concrete slab
→ Equipment is heavy: chillers, AHUs, large pumps
→ You’re close to critically quiet areas (boardrooms, hospitals, hotels)

🔵 RUBBER ISOLATORS — specify when:
→ Equipment runs above 1200 RPM
→ Installation is on a rigid ground-supported slab
→ High-frequency noise reduction is the priority
→ Equipment is light: fan coils, small pumps, split AC units
→ Budget and space are constrained

Get the selection wrong and your client calls you 18 months later wondering why their boardroom sounds like a plant room.
