📢 Entry Measures into Thailand by Air travel✈️

📌 **Registration on Thailand Pass starts on 29 April 2022 (00.01 hrs Thailand Time)

From 1 May 2022, travelers entering Thailand by air will be subject to new entry measures, as follows;

🔴 1. Fully Vaccinated Persons must :

- Register on Thailand Pass

- Attach required documents including passport, certificate of vaccination

- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)

(COVID-19 test, both prior to and after arriving in Thailand, is no longer required)

🔴 2. Unvaccinated Persons

🔸 (Option 1 - Exemption from quarantine) Travelers with a negative RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before traveling must :

- Register on Thailand Pass

- Attach required documents including passport, and COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before traveling (must attach on Thailand Pass only)

- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)

(Any COVID-19 test after arriving in Thailand is not required)

PLEASE NOTE Travelers who have been approved to enter Thailand under AQ scheme but wish to enter Thailand under exemption from quarantine must re-apply on Thailand Pass.

🔸(Option 2 - Quarantine) Travelers who cannot undergo an RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before traveling or wish to be quarantined must :

- Register on Thailand Pass

- Attach required documents including passport, Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotel confirmation for 5 days (including 1 RT-PCR test)

- Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)

- undergo an RT-PCR test on Day 4 - 5 in Thailand during the mandatory 5-day quarantine at AQ hotel

PLEASE NOTE Travelers whose Thailand Pass have already been issued can travel with the issued QR Code and do not need to register for new Thailand Pass.

💉 The vaccines approved by Thailand include

(1) CoronaVac (Sinovac)
(2) AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria, Covishield)
(3) Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty)
(4) Moderna
(5) COVILO (Sinopharm)
(6) Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)
(7) Sputnik V
(8) Covaxin

Thailand fully recognizes mixed vaccination. However, your second dose needs to be administered based on the recommended timeframe for each vaccine type (first dose), as follows :

▶️ 1st dose (Sinovac) : 2nd dose after 2 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (AstraZeneca) : 2nd dose after 4 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (Pfizer-BioNTech : 2nd dose after 3 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (Moderna) : 2nd dose after 4 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (Sinopharm) : 2nd dose after 3 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (Sputnik V) : 2nd dose after 3 weeks
▶️ 1st dose (Covaxin) : 2nd dose after 4 weeks

📍 To be considered fully vaccinated, your 2nd dose must be administered at least 14 days before your travel.

📍 Those vaccinated with Janssen (Johnson&Johnson) vaccine do not need to receive their 2nd dose to be considered fully vaccinated.

📍 Those previously infected with COVID-19 are considered fully vaccinated if they have received a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine within 3 months after their recovery. In this case, your proof or medical record of COVID-19 recovery must be submitted alongside your single-dose vaccination certificate.

📍 If you have been fully vaccinated before contracting COVID-19, you are still considered to be fully vaccinated.

📍 Those who have recovered from COVID-19 within 3 months before travelling to Thailand must present a valid COVID-19 recovery form or medical certificate certifying that they have recovered from COVID-19 or are asymptomatic in case their COVID-19 RT-PCR test shows a positive result.
