PLEASE READ! I NEED YOUR HELP! There is a child helpline in India that helps protect kids against violence, s*xual harassment and abuse BUT not everyone knows about it. It can be tricky to communicate information to a population of 1.3 billion. Having said that, on my recent field visit to India, I noticed almost everyone had a cell phone and was on YouTube and other socials. This gave me an idea! My first major initiative as a @unicef Global Goodwill Ambassador is to spread the word that there is help 24/7, for free, for all kids in India. All they have to do is call 1098. I’m excited to announce that, starting today, a PSA will be running as a pre-roll ad on @YouTube in India to help spread the word. But I need your help too! Please spread this image and the information regarding 1098! Repost, tweet, whatever you can. It’s not about a hashtag or a trending topic... it’s about creating a chain of knowledge. Perhaps your post will be reposted and then someone else will repost that and down the line, a child in india will hear about the hotline through something you helped spread!
