Independence Day reminds people of all of the virtues, pride, colourful history, cultural wealth, diversity, and landscapes that we should be honoured to call home.

It's also the day on which we remember and honour the brave sacrifices of our independence warriors, who battled valiantly and patriotically to free their homeland from British domination.
