Congress Working Committee member and member of the India Alliance Committee formed for the Lok Sabha elections, Salman Khurshid has put forward the party's opinion regarding seat sharing.
According to Hindustan Times, he said that talks about seats will start from Sunday and it will start from Delhi and as people keep giving us time, we will keep taking things forward.
Regarding seat sharing with AAP in Punjab, the former Union Minister said, “We have not yet discussed with the party leadership regarding Punjab. We have been told to leave it for some time.
Regarding the seat sharing formula, Salman Khurshid said, “The formula will be different in every state because the ground reality is different everywhere. We cannot speak about other parties, this should be in their mind also.
Along with all these things, we also have to keep in mind that there is life even after 2024. Yes, 2024 is an important milestone but we are not closing shop in 2024. We hope that we will form the government at the Center with our fellow parties. Every party needs to move forward.
