If you are searching Jaisalmer tourist places, kuldhara village could be one of them. In this video, I am talking about the History of kuldhara village . Here is some shorts introduction of Kuldhara -”Most Haunted Village in Asia” Taken from available sources on Internate and the locals of kuldhara
Kuldhara is a deserted village in the Rajasthani district of Jaisalmer. It was formerly a flourishing community inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins, and it was founded during the 13th century. It was abandoned in the early nineteenth century for unknown causes, such as decreasing water supplies, an earthquake, or, according to local mythology, atrocities committed by Jaisalmer State's minister Salim Singh.
Kuldhara gained a reputation as a haunted location through time, and the Rajasthan government chose to develop it as a tourist destination in the 2010s.
Structure
The former village site is roughly 18 kilometres south-west of Jaisalmer. The town was built on an 861 m × 261 m rectangular land that was aligned north-south. The municipality was built around a mother goddess shrine. It featured three longitudinal highways with a number of latitudinal tiny lanes running through them. [1]
On the north and south sides of the site, the ruins of a city wall may be seen. The town's eastern side confronts the little Kakni river's dry-river bed. Back-walls of man-made constructions shielded the western side.
