Sargasso sea has no coasts.

The only sea in the world without any coasts, the Sargasso Sea is found in the Atlantic Ocean. Located in the North, it is surrounded by four ocean currents, with no land coastline to speak of. It is named for the floating seaweed that covers it: Sargassum.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY is observed on the 10th of October every year in order to bring about an attitude change and break stereotypes attached to mental health. In times like these, mental health has become a serious issue for people worldwide and an initiative to spread awareness and to be able to see beyond taboos attached to mental health is a must. The theme for World Mental Health Day 2020 is KINDNESS and we at Kirori Mal College feel that WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS!

The Department of Geography, Kirori Mal College is delighted to announce an Essay Writing Competition on the occasion of World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2020.

The topic for the essay is - "MENTAL HEALTH FALLOUT FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND HOW KINDNESS CAN BE A WAY OUT"

We will be accepting entries till 30th October 2020, which need to be submitted in a word format on [email protected].

The word limit is 1500-2000 words.
