ਹਰ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ, ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਚਕੀਲੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬੀਤੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ—ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀਆਂ, ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹੀ ਸਮਝ ਅਗਲੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ, ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੋਕਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ (FGDs) ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਵੰਦਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਭਾਸ਼ ਬਿੰਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫੀਲਡ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੈਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਖਰੀਫ਼ 2025 ਅਤੇ ਰਬੀ 2025–26 ਦੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਸਲ ਤਜਰਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਣ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਮੰਚ ਬਣੀਆਂ।

ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਉਹ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਬਦਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਉਭਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਝੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਣਕ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ—ਉਪਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਰ-ਚੜ੍ਹਾਅ, ਬਿਜਾਈ ਦੇ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ, ਖਾਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਟਦੇ ਭੂਜਲ ਪੱਧਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਤ-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਕਾਮੀਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਿੰਚਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ, ਇਨਪੁੱਟ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਸਲ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਰਾਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਗਲੇ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਰਹੇ, DFN ਐਪ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਡਿਜ਼ੀਟਲ ਮੰਚ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਜਿਗਿਆਸਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੀ ਕਲਿੱਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ—ਬਿਹਤਰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਜਰਬਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸੀਜ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

Every season leaves behind a story of decisions made, challenges faced, and lessons learned. To build a more resilient agricultural system, we must first look closely at the season that passed for understanding its vulnerabilities and then ensuring the next harvest is more secure.

With this purpose, Focus Group Discussions were recently held across Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Patiala. Facilitated by Prem Singh Sidhu, Vandna, and Subhash Bindra alongside our dedicated field teams, these sessions served as a vital forum for farmers to dissect the realities of the Kharif 2025 and Rabi 2025–26 seasons.

The conversations centered on the friction points between traditional habits and changing field realities. For paddy and wheat alike, farmers openly shared the pressures they face: fluctuating yields, shifting planting timelines, and the mounting challenges of managing escalating fertilizer doses and groundwater depletion. Rather than treating these field-level trials as failures, the discussions transformed them into insights for improvement. By evaluating the precise number of irrigations applied and tracking input management, the community collaborated on pathways to optimize resource-use efficiency.

To ensure these knowledge and information remain accessible in the heat of the next season, the DFN app was also introduced as an easygoing companion—a digital space where answers to seasonal queries are readily available with just a few taps. Ultimately, these conversations proved that the path to better harvests begins with listening, learning, and drawing wisdom from every season.

18 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ CIPT ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਮਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਅਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਰਥਪੂਰਨ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਸਾਡੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲ ਲੱਭਣ, ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਗਵਾਰ ਪਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਣੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਅਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਈ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਫਲਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਰਹੇ—ਕੀਮਤੀ ਜਲ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ।

ਇਸ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਧਾਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ 18 ਸਾਲ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ, ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਥੀਭਾਵ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਸੰਭਵ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਕੰਮ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹਨ।
