Women's Organisation in Rural Development (WORD)

During an exposure program to Arogya Agham, Andipatti in Theni District in Tamilnadu to get to know the community based response and efforts against Violence Against Women at the ground level!

We conducted a legal awareness program for women at Pallipalayam, Namakkal District on 23 January 2026 in coordination with the Block Legal Services Authority, Kumarapalayam.

Ms. T. Naveena, District Munsif, Kumarapalayam explained important laws and legal procedures during the session. Participants actively clarified their legal doubts and also submitted various petitions during this awareness program for appropriate remedial action.

The Valedictory Program for our Market Linked Vocational Program in Virudhachalam held on 30 December 2025.

We had run the vocational training program in Virudhachalam in Cuddalore District in Tamilnadu with the CSR Support from SMFG India Credit Company Limited for a period of 6 months and we have trained 100 women in 2 batches on tailoring skills to enhance their economic development with this core skill.

During the valedictory the Branch Manager of SMFG Virudhachalam Branch participated and gave away the certificates to the trainees.
