Morning Prayer

With Jesus in the morning

Confessing Christ | Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul

With renewed spirit and a sense of wonder about what this day will bring, we come before you, Lord. Together with the whole Church, we celebrate today the feast of the princes of the Apostles, Peter and Paul.

When Jesus asked his disciples who he was to them, Peter responded with a clear confession: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Mt 16:13–19)

Who is Christ for us? And how does He speak to us in response to our confession?

To You, Lord, we entrust our lives and this day. In this spirit of trust, we pray the Offering Prayer.
