Opening tomorrow: 'and the trees sing resistance songs', a solo show by Rah Naqvi
Spanning painting, installation, textile, and film, our new exhibition brings together Rah's most recent body of work, which threads through grief, faith, lamentation, and resistance, and offers an encounter with material as a site of discovery, memory, and time.
Join us for the preview tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 pm at TARQ.

Blurring research, fiction, and image-making, Ronny Sen travels to abandoned airfields in Bengal. These sites, located on the eastern edge of the British Empire, were once used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) and the Royal Air Force (RAF), where B-29 bombers that later dropped the nuclear bombs on Japan were operational in the 1940s.
Against this backdrop, he constructs a speculative narrative, setting out in search of a surviving analogue AI machine built as a covert weapon system in the form of a wooden dog, in the company of a sixteen-year-old boy.
Pictured Artwork: After entry, after exit (diptych), 2026. Archival Pigment Inkjet Print.
