It's one of my favorite times of the year!
Time to celebrate my baby brother's birthday 🎂
Abhishek Gandhi has been my biggest cheerleader, the most critical and supportive guinea pig to all the recipe trials😘
So, as he turns older, here's his birthday cake 🎂 for this year:

Decadent Mocha ☕️ Mud Cake with Salted Dulce De leche filling & Luscious Chocolate🍫 Ganache frosting

When conveniently coincidences with 's birthday, what is his sister to do but experiment 🤔 🤩
Wanted to try working on some and desserts this time 🤞🏻
So, paired the rich decadence of chocolate 🍫 to the zesty fruitiness of the humble orange 🍊 and tossed in some crunchy almond praline in good measure to bring it all home 🤗

Analysis ( 🤓) :

Flavor: *Chef's kiss* 🤌🏻 This flavor bomb tingles your palate awake 🥰

Texture: Mouthfeel was 🥲 But feel like the mousse needs slight improvement to get a better finish ...Maybe some changes in technique as the intention is to avoid using any stabilizers

Verdict: With some more trials, we could possibly add this on our menu 🥳

It has almost been 3 weeks since the Lockdown 😞
We are slowly easing into the new normal :
-Of staying indoors 🙍,
-Of working from home💻,
-Of trying to catch up with all the cleaning n dusting n laundry n mopping n dish washing...(Man ! It just doesn't end,does it?😖)
-Of planning those weekly grocery n produce shopping 🚶🥕🥔🍎🍅🚶trips (Saying a little prayer as u step out🙏)
-Of getting used to the masks & sanitisers😷

*Sleeping a little longer 💤
*Smiling a little more😃

Life ,as we know it ,has changed forever...

At , as we seek gratitude 🙏 for the privilege and abundance that we are blessed with, we say a little prayer for all those who need it & we promise to try and help out however we can in the days to come 🗓️
