Some of the best lessons aren't taught inside a classroom—they're experienced.
GMP’s Organizational Behaviour Practical (PG Lab) under the guidance of Prof. Lata Dhir, took them into the outdoors, where they discovered the true meaning of teamwork, trust, communication, and collaboration through a series of exciting activities. From cheering each other on during rock climbing to guiding blindfolded teammates using only clear communication and trust, every challenge reminded them that success is built on coordination and collective effort. Being divided into teams wasn't just about completing tasks—it was about understanding different perspectives, supporting one another, and learning how every individual contributes to a shared goal. Every encouragement, every strategy, and every small victory reinforced the importance of working together as one team. A day filled with learning, laughter, challenges, and unforgettable memories—proving that the strongest teams are built through trust, communication, and shared experiences.

We are delighted to welcome the newest cohort of SPJIMR’s Global Management Programme (GMP) – Batch 24. 🎓 The inauguration ceremony marked the beginning of an exciting and transformative journey towards global careers and international learning experiences.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising knowledge, growth, and new beginnings.
Some inspiring insights shared during the inauguration:
✨ Prof. Milind Kamat, Chairperson – GMP, encouraged participants to take ownership of their learning journey, remain curious, and build networks with a spirit of helping others.
✨ Prof. Renuka Kamath, Associate Dean, congratulated the batch for choosing GMP in uncertain times and reminded them to make the most of their student experience—show up, learn, network, and build career plans, not panic plans.
✨ Christoph Rendtorff, Deputy Consul General of Germany in Mumbai, highlighted the strengthening Indo-German partnership and encouraged students to embrace new cultures, learn foreign languages, step beyond their comfort zones, and build meaningful global connections.
As they prepare to embark on their international academic journey at EBS Universität , ESB Business School , IÉSEG School of Management, and Nyenrode Business Universiteit, we wish them immense success and enriching experiences ahead.
