Anaaj Distribution Drive – Bharat Nagar, Mumbai

On 17 May 2026, an Anaaj Distribution Drive was conducted in Bharat Nagar in Mumbai, during which 100 ration kits were distributed to need-based families.

The initiative marked the 13th International Art of Giving (AoG) Day, founded by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences.

The distribution was led by Mrs. Samina Khorakiwala, Director at Wockhardt Foundation & Goodwill Ambassador for AoG Women in Mumbai.

Mrs. Khorakiwala was joined by Ms. Seema Saroj, Mumbai Chapter Chair of FICCI FLO. They interacted with women from the community to understand their needs, especially regarding skill development and small-business support. The engagement offered meaningful grassroots insights, and beneficiaries expressed gratitude for both the ration support and the opportunity to share their aspirations.

Some partnerships are signed. The meaningful ones are felt. 🌸

On 1st April 2026, Wockhardt Foundation and FICCI FLO came together through a Memorandum of Understanding focused on advancing women’s health and mental wellbeing.

Through this collaboration, initiatives under Wockhardt Foundation’s Mobile 1000 programme will help bring essential healthcare services and holistic support to women across communities.

When care reaches women, strength follows quietly into every space they hold.
