The Wise Old Sage is a someone who can be a profound philosopher distinguished for wisdom & making sound judgements. The man carries traits of being kind & wise, generally who uses personal experiences to help & guide others.

Going back to history, as kids we have always come across three monkeys covering their eyes, ears & mouth respectively. These three wise monkeys are Mizaru, it teaches the world to “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”.

These two statements have hugely inspired me to make this cocktail. The ingredients used are Home made plum jam, as its in season. Fresh lime juice to accentuate the natural aromas of my favourite gin, Monkey 47 which has beautiful aromas of lemongrass and faint lavender. Using Plum jam to compliments Gin’s flavour characteristics and to add the touch of freshness I have used Home Made Sage soda which takes us back to the first saying, “The Old Wise Sage”, similarly my Sage soda helps and guides other flavours to showcase themselves in the cocktail at the same time not overpowering the gin.
Ladies & Gentlemen, here I present “Three Wise Monkey” which hears no evil, speaks no evil, sees no evil but just enjoys this pleasing cocktail.

Recipe :-
Fresh Lime Juice - 12 ml
HM Plum Jam - 2 bar spoons
- 45 ml
HM Sage Soda - Top Up
