Precision and performance are the main topics of discussion at DMI!

Mr. Paul Weaver, Director of Sales and Marketing at Renishaw India, while sharing his views about the Die Mould India exhibition, emphasised that modern metrology is no longer just about inspection; it is now fully integrated with CAD/CAM systems, automation, and intelligent data platforms to drive consistent quality and operational excellence.

He emphasised that as industries demand tighter tolerances, shorter production cycles, and worldwide compliance, improved measuring technologies are becoming critical to improving India's position in high-precision manufacturing. He added that, with rising demands in industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and energy, platforms such as DMI have to and are playing an important role in speeding the adoption of integrated metrology, automation, and data-driven production.

The CSO at REGO-FIX, Mr. Thomas Woerndle outlines how regulatory encouragement, digitalisation, automation, and precision-driven demand have transformed India's die and mould sector.

He adds that industries such as automotive, EV, aerospace, and medical devices are accelerating the demand for high-precision, internationally competitive tooling, positioning India as an increasingly vital sourcing destination.

He sees DMI as a complete and credible platform that makes it possible for major OEM interaction, worldwide networking, and technology alliances, making it an ideal platform for showcasing precision manufacturing innovation.
