📘 Book Spotlight: Building Winning Brands by Gurudev Prasad

Ever wondered why some products click instantly with people while others struggle—even if they’re technically better? 🤔

This book breaks down the science + strategy behind creating brands that people trust, remember, and choose. And yes—this matters for engineers too.

🔧 Why should engineering students read this?
Because great ideas alone aren’t enough. The way you present, position, and communicate your innovation can decide its success.

💡 Key takeaways made simple:
✨ A brand is the experience people associate with your product
✨ Clarity beats complexity—keep your message simple
✨ Strong branding builds credibility before performance
✨ Consistency turns small ideas into powerful identities
✨ Understanding users is just as important as building solutions

🚀 Real talk:
You could build the next big app, device, or system—but without the right branding, it might never reach its full potential.

On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the NDLI Club is organising a "Take Away of Books" initiative along with a quiz on Understanding Plagiarism. The event aims to promote a love for reading while creating awareness about academic integrity and ethical use of information.
Participants can explore a variety of books and take home those of their interest, encouraging knowledge sharing and reading habits. The quiz on Understanding Plagiarism will help students understand different forms of plagiarism, the importance of proper citation and the value of original work.
Through this initiative, the NDLI Club seeks to inspire responsible scholarship while celebrating the significance of books and intellectual property.

At St. Francis Institute of Technology, the library is more than just a reading space.

It is designed to support focused learning, independent thinking, and academic discipline.

Students use this space to:

Build stronger conceptual understanding
Study in a distraction-free environment
Prepare effectively for exams and projects

In a world full of distractions, having a quiet space to think clearly makes a real difference.

We encourage students to make full use of the library as part of their academic journey.
