Cafe Story | Goa

This is the second cafe I visited while ony Goa trip early August. I was based in Siolim and I was craving an espresso based drink in the morning. A simple Google "near me" revealed this place. To be honest I didn't care to read the reviews or look at photos; for once I was willing to play it blind. A part of it was the urge to visit a cafe, a part of it was the fact that it was within spitting distance from my stay.

It didn't disappoint. This is the outlet in Siolim. Minimal, vibrant, calm. It felt serene, and the vibe there didn't rush me. I like such places. I hate it when people are simply anxious in the name of "loving the energy". You can be lively yet tranquil. Centered and stable in your energy. Hoops felt like that.

I got a flat white with an omlette. The flat white was to my expectation. Generally flat white is ideal to play around with Latte Art, ideal bed with strong microfoam. But this one didn't have a heart, tulip, or whatever is in vogue this days. Having said that, it was unapologetic, perhaps by design, or rather this itself was the art. I didn't mind. For me this was good. Food menu was extensive. Sometimes I love the classic, so omlette. Taste, presentation, speed ✅

Cannot miss mentioning my admiration for this artwork on the wall. It had the capacity to revolt against the emptiness of minimalism without spoiling the peace that comes with it. Kudos

In all, had a good time there. Would recommend a quick pitstop to gather your thoughts, before you go ahead.
